Oil cooler hose leak not covered by gmpp

At dealer getting oil change they noticed a leak from the oil cooler hose. At 47000kms . Turns gmpp does not cover it. My contract does exclude hoses under certain maintenance items not covered. This is a maintenance item? Appratly if this hose pops off while your driving’s you risk catastrophic engine failure. Just wonder if anyone has some advice or comments its 400 cad repair.

beyond my capabilities. Repair was done. 371 plus tax

Just reviewed my owners warranty manual , it explicitly covers oil cooler lines and hoses under the 5 year powertrain 160000 warranty i cant believe the dealer missed this. Now i need to pursue a refund

Yep. I think you need to have a chat with them. Even with an extended warranty, they should have gone for your powertrain first. If powertrain didn't cover, then go for the extended.

Labor op is 4065470. It shows as being on the powertrain coverage code chart.
