Pulled a Rubicon out with my Z71!!!!

A good friend of mine just got a rubicon... Friday night we went off roading in a new construction neighborhood. There was a big ditch that immediatly goes back up after it goes down. Well my buddy and his rubicon made it through no problem, didnt even need the lockers. I decided to try it in my 99 silverado and when I got to the bottom the front bumper hit and popped halft of my air dam off, so I put it in 4LO and tried to back out. Well the front tires broke through some ice into about a foot of muddy water and the rear tires were on a very flat frozen dirt and could get no traction. So the rubicon pulled me out no problem. Last night I was watching TV with my G/F and I get a call from my friend and his G/F saying they are stuck in the same place!!! So we headed out and when I got there I saw all 4 tires spinning!! Couldnt believe it. After I got him out I saw his back tires wer in the rut and the ledge of the rut was a sheet of ice and couldnt get traction. Im just glad He got stuck in the same place!! Are there any lockers out there for the front end of my truck??? I would really like one

I want one really bad, but A) $30k is too much for a Jeep and B) if I got a Rubicon, the wife would make me sell my truck.

I want one really bad too, But Im just going to put some money into some off road accessories in an attempt to keep up with his rubicon. First I want full lockers, are there any companies out there that offer them for my front end?

illeagal wheeling give us all a bad name. If you are going to wheel, do it someplace legal. News flash, a constuction site is not legal.

 

And yes I do wheel, and that type of behavior makes it harder to get new legal places opened.

The rubicon is not 30K... Id try a different Jeep dealer if they are asking 30K, They are just a few K more than the sahara.... I work at a Jeep dealer..I can hook ya up

Try contacting Eaton. They were suppose to develope a locker for the front this year i thought.
