2011 3500hd low coolant message

I’ve got one I can’t figure out and need help. So I’ve got a 11 3500hd 6.0 gas that recently started showing low coolant message but there is no sensor on the reservoir at all and do not see a electrical plug where one would hook up either. This is driving me nuts… anyone else with this issue? Thanks in advance.

I believe the sensor is actually on the head but don't quote me on that

Sometimes there’s just low coolant. It happens.
