2007 Gmc 2500 Bed swap

Hello, I have a 2007 GMC Sle Regular Cab 8 ft bed New body style. It's has rot In the wheel wells and I'm looking to swap the bed out  for a nice southern one. Will a 07-14 GMC 1500 bed fit. Or does it have to 2500 bed. ( I have seen some talk online about beds having different mounting positions,  so I'd figure I'd ask before I spend the money. Thanks!

Is your 2007 a "classic"? In other words, is your truck a GMT800 or GMT900? If it's not a "classic", the beds for 2007 to 2014 are the same. "New body style" normally refers to a GMT800. To verify the fit, find the 2006 and 2008 Body Builder's Manuals and compare them.

It would be pretty obvious that a 1999-2007 bed would look different right???

New body style. It will be the correct bed for that truck just off a 1500. I'm just being overly cautious because I can't find one local to me and I need to have one shipped. So I can't test fit it before the purchase.
