Found this small line that is broken from the round cap on the air intake to the TBI

 

any idea what it’s for?

Another question on this truck…

is it common for the A/C to blow mostly from the floor vent? No matter which mode I select, the majority of the cool air is coming from the floor vent, actuator appears to work as it changes from all floor, to dash vents to defrost, but the floor vent never shuts off
