My 2006 'Do had the weight spec in the manual too. I haven't looked hard enough in my 2011 Suburbans manual to see if its there too though.

I’ll have to look into that. I thought you could run a vacuum pump into a container, maybe I’m wrong.

you could make 1 that will do that out of an old refridgerator compressor, you would have to source the fittings you need and solder them to the lines on the compressor
