I am looking to purchase the Michelin DEFENDER LTX M/S 285 /45 R22. I currently have the bridgestone 285 /45 R22 110h.

I am having a hard time finding the Defender with the 110h but the extra load 114h is readily available. Mostly road driving. Is there a difference in how the feel of every day driving between the 2 different load ratings?

Is there another comparable tire to consider that gives the best smooth and comfort ride?

Thanks for your help.

Just go with the XL, you really won't notice any difference. Both are still Passenger Truck Tires.
