Infotainment software random reset?

Headed out this morning, noticed all my Sirius XM presets were gone - FM presets were still there.  

 

Then, a few hours later, my wife took the truck, and she said nothing even came up on the screen until she was all the way down the block, and it popped up with a notice that it had been factory reset.  Now, everything is gone - all radio presets, audio settings, etc...  

 

Anybody seen anything like this?

Well, it happened again - but this time I watched it happen - 

 

Got in the truck, and a progress bar started on the screen - moved really quick up to 99% then sat there for a few minutes. I got tired of waiting so I drove off. Both screens not showing anything useful. A couple minutes later the progress bar finished and it boot up with the Cadillac logo! very strange...  finally came up to the normal screens, but radio presets gone again, most things reset to factory.   

 

After shutting it off and restarting, came up with the normal GMC logo at least.

 

I'm afraid to take it in - they'll just charge me to tell me nothing is wrong... but I can't keep having it reset every couple of months...
