Service rear vision system

2015 suburban - backup camera - service rear vision system message and the screen shows the area behind the vehicle but very dark screen and difficult to make out objects.  I replaced the camera and get

the same error

I just bought a new-to-me 2015 Sierra High Country 2500 and the backup camera image is quite dim compared to my prior 2015 Silverado 1500. I don't get the "service" message you are seeing but did the new camera address the dark image you were seeing?
