My First Truck - 2018 Silverado Z71 LT - Hello & Mod Question

I just bought my first Truck, a 2018 Silverado Z71 LT!  My plans for the truck are mostly daily driving around Kansas City where I live, but I will also use it to take my kayak to the lake and I am interested in getting/towing an ATV as well.

 

My reason for posting is to say hello, share a few pictures, and ask what mods this forum would recommend.  The mods I intend on completing first are:

• Upgrade to power folding mirrors, most likely tow mirrors.  (Reason for this is the truck doesn't fit in my garage unless the windows are folded in)
• Oil catch can.

Welcome - tint , 3m clear flim ( grill,bumper,mirror caps , 10" strip of hood ) protect the front end from rock chips.

https://harnessdr.com/product/2014-2019-dl3-tow-mirror-upgrade-pnp-harness/ I went with just the regular dl3 power folds on mine with the simpler diy wiring but this is a complete swap of harnesses for tow mirrors

Thanks for the link!  I am planning to purchase the additional wires separately in a kit instead of buying the full harness with the additional wires, but I will keep that in mind.

I would do a good job checking over the fluids, especially the transmission. If you notice your transmission temp is 185F to 195F in normal driving, you should do the pill flip or get the new thermostat from GM. This will keep your transmission cool and prolong the fluid life. There is a big thread about this here on the forum you can check out.

I went with the same wiring on mine when I did the dl3 mirrors from the harness dr !! U had mentioned getting tow mirrors I'm not sure that wiring will work with them .. if I'm correct I had read the wi wiring is different for the tow mirrors let me dig a little to make sure
