I just went up to a 2022 2500hd from my 2020 so I can’t look at it to answer my own question as I’m noticing this a week later but the back side of the hood doesn’t have the black paint on it . It looks like primer clear coated . After inspecting the bed I see the same thing in the post holes and around the metal overlaps . Under the truck looks like straight primer and the white joint sealer is completely exposed. Seems the truck was rushed out . Does anyone else notice this on there’s ?

Trucks have been like that forever, I've been under hundreds of them over the years.

The seem sealer is always exposed, even sedans and SUV's are the same way. It's just there to prevent water and dirt from getting in between stuff. Not really any other way to do that.

Metal body parts are dipped with a coating and not everything gets painted over. The stake pockets on all of my trucks have never been fully painted, not even my parents 2021 Silverado.
