If it's clean and rust free, it's worth the money to me. Hard to find rust free trucks where I live so that would be a steal here.

 

The mechanical stuff is all easy to do on those trucks. Give it a good test drive. Let it idle cold, listen to the engine, take it for a test drive and get things hot. I always floor it on test drive to make sure the transmission can handle it, get things hot and up to temp. Slam on the brakes too to test them. Just normal stuff really.

I agree with Cam, Frame rust was a problem on them was the only thing I would ad. My 04 looks good on the top but scary rusty on the bottom
