21 Elevation Painted Front Bumper

Hi Everyone,  

 

I have a 21 GMC Elevation 1500 5.3 A8 with painted white front and rear bumpers.  

 

I'm seeing an excessive amount of chip damage (no clear bra on the truck) on the front bumper and hood more so than I have ever experienced with my Previous GMC.  I've only put 8k miles on the truck and the front bumper looked terrible with chips.    

 

I've already repaired the bumper and am getting a wrap for it but am curious if anyone else experienced the same thing?  Severely chipped painted bumper after low miles?

Well it depends on your driving environment but yeah, new GM paint is notoriously easy to chip

First thing i did - 3m Clear flim - Front end ( Grill,Bumper) , 10" strip on hood ,  mirror caps also door still's
