Power door locks work intermittently

2015 Silverado 4 door LT

On occasion NONE of the power door locks work, either with the key fob or the switch on either of the front doors.

When this happens and you use the key fob lock/unlock feature the exterior lights will still illuminate and the horn will sound, but the locks will not move. 

I do not hear any clicking, either with the fob or the lock switch, no sounds, no nothing. The, randomly, it all starts working again...until it doesn't.

I’d start by looking at your battery and grounds. If the battery is weak or the terminals are corroded, that can cause electrical issues. If the ground behind the front passenger wheel well is dirty or if the ground next to the front left speaker in the dash is touching insulation, they can cause issues too. I’d make sure your grounds are clean, tight and free from any debris.

Just curious if you ever got this issue resolved, I’m having a similar problem

I would check the harness in the left front door jamb for broken wires. Had the same problem with my 2014 Silverado. Found multiple broken wires. Repaired the harness, soldering and heat shrinking the breaks now everything works perfect.
