what size flowmaster do I need

I'm going to order a 40 series muffler for my 2003 silverado single in, dual out. Is the correct size 3"inlet and dual 2.5" outlets? Thanks for the help

Roger that ... same thing on my truck. I had em routed out the back with 4" slash-cut tips. If your's sounds as good as mine, you'll LOVE it!

Flowmaster has a new muffler called the Super 40, its a 40 series but louder on the outside and softer on the inside. My freind just got one put on today, sounds deep and aggresive. I would look into this new series.

Ok, as a side-note: I was under my truck today changing front/rear diff fluid so I got a good look at the Flowmaster. I've had it on there for a bit over a year and I think I shoulda followed my buddy's advice and sprayed it (especially the welds) with some kinda rust resistant, hi-temp paint when it was new. So yeah, ya might wanna plan on doing that as soon as you get yours.
