I bought a set of new style (2500-3500) tow mirrors for my 2019 Silverado LTZ.

I used a 12 volt battery to figure out the wiring diagram for both stock mirrors and tow mirrors. All options function properly (camera, power, blind spot, etc) everything expect my ambient air temp… before I go on I have tried multiple sensors which I know worked. It doesn’t read the temperature properly and throws a P0073 code. I’m not sure what would be the issue as I found both wires coming from the sensor and have them swapped to the correct pin location. Would wire size affect this? Or any other ideas? I’m lost and sick of this code popping up

If I touch wires together it reads (-40) and when I plug sensor it it’s stuck at either 26 or 32 degrees with engine code
