strange...in 87 you would have an R1500 or V1500...i like C and K more, but i bet the R1500s (and 2500,3500s) and V1500s will be interesting collector trucks one day.

I had an '87 R1500 long bed regular cab Silverado.  Since it was the last year of that body style, it is the most coveted of them because it marked the return of the 350 V8 and fuel injection and the most horsepower available in a 1/2 ton pickup at the time.  They had also worked most of the problems out before they swtiched to the "controversial" at the time, more aerodynamic body style previous to the current body style truck.
