Got an 05 gmc sierra quad cab z71 5.3  109,000 miles . Anyone have an oem water pump number for the old style New style Dealer tells me i need to update with additional parts (gooseneck with added hose & thermostat)

Been adding past 2 years every month about 1 cup of antifreeze 50/50.

No notice of any spots on the drive or leaking. Have noticed fluid setting under the truck on tlines & cables, obvious an small leak.

Just did an oil analysis & antifreeze showed up  in the oil. figured i’d start looking up parts and asking advice before get out of hand???

Water pump will NOT put coolant in the oil so you have bigger problems than the waterpump. Some aftermarket NEW water pumps come with the new style thermostat housing and thermostat installed but even if they are not the new style tstat housing is not expensive. Pressure test the system BEFORE throwing parts at it

External leak is probably on the fitting(s) going through the firewall to the heater core.

If you're getting antifreeze in your oil, you've got other issues you need to tackle before worrying about the heater core fittings.  Sounds like you've got a head gasket leak or possibly a set of the notorious castech heads.  Replacing the water pump won't help either of those situations.
