Thanks Did you do any wiring harness customization? What brand mirrors?
cub 982 Posted April 14, 2023 Author Posted April 14, 2023 No customization and just aftermarket from AutoShack
GOMD Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 You usually need to add wiring to bring new features to the mirror, that were not present on your truck from the factory, like turn signals or spot lights. Not sure how you go about it with your brand of mirror though. Boost Auto sends full kits with wiring harness' and instructions. 1
MikeBMW Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 (edited) Yes, you will need a new door harness. Here is a great one From HarnessDr When I had my tow mirrors installed, the dealer swapped the door harness with the stock GM tow mirror harness. HarnessDr also has some DIY options for a lesser price. Edited April 14, 2023 by MikeBMW
