Texting issue

I have been using google assistant(not android auto) to text in my 22.5 rst for over a year now and it has worked great. Two days ago went to text my wife went through the normal prompts (ok google-message Deb-Deb sure whats the message- on my way home)-instead of saying its sent it just keeps saying Deb sure whats the message and never sends. The weird thing is i can reply to a message that has been sent to me no with no problem! all other functions work fine (phone calls ect.)

I have restarted the infotainment system (held down mute button on steering wheel)  tried a different messaging app on my phone, and finally i factory reset the unit with no luck.

Anyone come across anything like this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
