Stiff turn signal lever?

So maybe I just have dainty baby hands, but are the turn signal levers on these HD trucks (or GM vehicles in general) a bit stiff? Every vehicle I've had before my new AT4 were really easy to throw on the turn signal with just an easy flick. This one I have to push it down pretty hard to get it to go. Is that normal, or am I just a little man baby?

I’ve notice this also, my 2020 2500HD is stiff also compared to my wife’s 2017 1500. They changed something.

It's stiff, and it's set back from the wheel farther than it was on my 2016.  I've missed it a few times when reaching.  That muscle memory is a beach...

Very stiff. The column gear shifter is also very stiff on my truck.

Yes, I noticed the distance from the wheel as well. When I first picked it up I thought the high beams might have been on or something.

 

Oh well, whatever. Guess it's just something to get used to!

Re the gear shifter, it is better than the alternative. My Silverado trail boss was loose, so I could see it bounce up and down out of the corner of my eye while driving over bumps in the road, and it annoyed me to no end. Good riddance trail boss, lol.
