Has anybody put 1.85 RRs in their 5.3? Results? Brand used? Thanks in advance.

I know a few people who have used 1.85 Comp Cams rockers. One guy put a set of 1.85 on his 5.3 and it changed the duration of the cam. Not physically, but they changed the exhaust duration and gave it more lope on a stock cam. You might get some valve float with the gain in spring action. If you have high miles you might want to consider new valve springs. The LS6 springs are a route you can take, I used them with my cam. If I were to get rockers they would be Yella Terras. Maybe even a set of the Harland-Sharp LS1 roller rockers. You may gain Id say 10-12HP. If you look to do a cam later I would not try to use the rockers with it.
