The only recommendation is if I was to do it again I would select a diffusor that let a little more lite thru as I live in a bright area and on bright days sometimes it is hard to tell if it is on or not.  As soon as the dusk comes in is very apparent.

 

With the new and cheaper LED light strips, it might be an option, but I would want to insure to find something with more lumens as I would not be replacing my diffusor.
