2023 Yukon Denali - BLOWN MOTOR (6K miles)

2023 Yukon Denali 4x4 ($92k) suddenly stopped and had to tow back to dealership at 6k miles, didn't even make it to the first maintenance service.  It has a blown motor and needs to be replaced.

 

Any on else having this issue?  Any suggestions?

 

I wan to sell it back to the dealer to recover the money and buy a diesel one this time, on don't trust the 6.2 motor anymore.

 

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!  Even attoney recommendations!

You aren't the only one with a locked up 6.2.  Our sister store had two of them the last 5 months.  Both were under 10,000 miles, had maybe their first oil change done at best.  Cranskahft main bearing failures.    

 

Its under warranty.  Let them put the engine in, then dump it.  Or, start a customer case with GM and try and push for a buyback or a swap to a diesel one while the dealer repairs it. 

 

I wouldn't fire up the lawyer cannon unless things go really whack and you are straight made of dough.
