Tonneau cover and power retract step suggestions.

I've been busy dealing with some issues on the new truck and getting the 2011 ready to sell. 

I've been watching a lot of videos also. I've started leaning towards the BAK X4S. I like the look and the fact that I won't lose space with a canister. My concern with the X4S is this truck will sit outside in the South Texas heat and weather and not sure how the vinyl cover will hold up. I'm still going with the AMP step I guess the standard step as this LTZ sits lower than my 2011 2500HD and I don't want them hitting the ground if I'm parked on the driveway slope. I've got to sell the 2011 before I can spend more money on the LTZ.  Thanks for the recommendations.

As far as the steps go I guess there is only one brand AMP Research. I see there are a few different part number steps that are supposed to fit this truck. Is there a difference between them and has anyone that has them had any issues? How well do they hold up in wet weather over the long haul? 

I bought my hard tri-fold from Amazon for $680. The brand is X-cover. It’s a pretty good deal and I like my cover.
