I like to go hunting and need to turn lights off is there a way to do that or a mod to make this happen

Lights off as in headlights and what not?  If you are in the US/have a US spec truck, just turn the headlight switch to the left all the way past the AUTO position.  It will kill all the exterior lighting.

 

If in Canada with a Canada market truck or in the US with a Canada market truck, nothing you can really do.  Canadian trucks are programmed to not be able to disable auto headlights unless in park.
