Hopefully someone can answer this question.

I have a 2007 avalanche that is equipped with vacuum brakes. I'm converting it to hydroboost.

There are two sensors that mount into the vacuum brakes booster. A rectangle one and a round one. My question is regarding the round 2 wire sensor. The wiring diagram says it's a power brake booster sensor and it has two wires that go to the EBCM . One is listed as hi control and the other is low control.

Can anyone tell me exactly what this sensor does and how it works. Without it installed, I get stabilitrac and traction control lights. I need to delete it because I will no longer have the vacuum booster and I don't want my dash to be lit up.

Thanks in advance.
