@paauto,  The KFC-X2C Kenwood's you put in your dash are rated as Mid's. Wonder if a 3/4" dome tweeter would hide behind the grill in the "A" pillars if you have these. 

On my '24 Denali, the reportedly 12 speaker Bose speaker quality is very cheap, and all door speakers are not a two way (with tweeter) like the JL-Audio, you replaced yours with. I had the door cards off to put in Woolwax rustproofing, and saw how crappy the door speakers are constructed. Will replace these come spring.

Have the high end EQ at 100%, and still not great separation and brightness.
