Ok so today me and some friends were really bored so I went and test drove a few trucks, pretending to be interested in buying something. Does this ever happen to yall?  I know it sure is a bad thing to do because it just makes me want..... hehe. Anyhow I know this is like anti ford forum, but since I am a ford girl at heart and still do own a ford, I will come out with it...I drove a 2002 f250 4x4 crew cab as well as an f350 4x4 crew cab dually, both diesel. While the 250 drove nicely, I fell in love with the dually....I know what I'll be dreamin about tonite!!!

I used to do it when I was in college (when I was a young buck), but I haven't done it in many years.

The last time I tried it was a very slightly used 4ws Honda Prelude.  The Salesman gave me the keys and said "Drive the pi$$ out of it!"  He even told me where I could drive and get some idea of the cars potential.  Well, I just had to obey.  Picture this...sweeping left hand curve of about 35 degrees, 90 mph, 2 lane road, pine trees on each side, car handled like a dream.  That is until it came upon a 2 ft section of missing pavement that was about 1 ft deep.  The tire blew, the rim broke, and I was lucky to stop it before hitting a tree.  I haven't done it again since.

Yep, do that quite a bit still.  I usually test drive just about anything new.  I have driven just about everything that has wheels on it.

I have a family member who is the GM or a dealership, so I get to drive all the new toys. The Sierra Denali with Quadrasteer is pretty cool..

Not usually, I did when the new silverados came out in 99! I hate to test drive if I am not interested because my dealer always lets me keep the vehicle for a couple days if I am interested! I took my present SIlverado for a test drive and never went back, the dealer told me to keep it for a day or so but I ended up likeing it so it never went back, we did the paper work in my living room!!!

The test drives are fun!  Couple of friends and I got banned from McCarthy Chevrolet here in town for so many joy rides and no sold cars!  We took a used Subaru Impreza WRX out last year and ran the piss out of it.  Jumped it over railroad tracks and did a little city rally racing, tons of fun.  Clutch smelled great when we were done.  Oh well.....

I haven't done any test drives in awhile, but I can't wait to test one of the new 2003 F-250s with the new Powerstrokes when they come out, I've always wanted to test drive one of the bid diesels fords.  Then of course I have always had the urge to test drive a BMW, but haven't done that yet.

Yep.  Drove 2 99 silverado Z71s back in 99 when they first came out.

First place was just for the heck of it.  My mom at the time was test driving tahoes and i said mom im gonna go drive a silverado.  Well she wanted to also.  Didnt go far but did drive through a grassy field  also we had the heated seats on in the middle of july ( WOAH)  she hit the darn button and we didnt know what it was hehe

Second place a few months later Guy gave me the keys, photocopied my license in case i stole it, told me to bring it back in about 30 min.

Lets just say i raced a camaro and didnt lose.  Quite fun

It was white with silver on the bottom ( i still see the truck around town someone bought it).

Truck has like 600 miles on it i think.

I havent test drove anything since i drove my truck.  I wanted to last yr on my bday (last sept) but when i seen the sticker prices i got sick to my stomach and left.  I might go drive a 03 when they hi the lots here

Yeah...I love doing that!!  I drove a brand new Onyx Black ZR2 the other day and I drove a silver Sport Trac 4x4 one day as well.  I liked 'em both...I'm in the market, mind you, but I still do it for fun!
