Upfitter switches

I want to add some upfitter switches in my truck but cant find for black interior only atmospheric, so plane B getting just the switches a 3 gang switch pack 84938259.  Question I need to get factory harness that will plug into grey capped plug under dash in order to get power to luminate with lights on then rig up the switched out to relays to the source, is that correct?   I did find one on a GM parts website for like 170.00 but at checkout it more then doubled.  Also if anyone has done this mod and have part numbers for the harness and other parts for this mod can I please get them.

I think I found one of the last black switch kit in the US, ordered it today will see fri.

I did this mod a couple of years ago for my 21 Trail Boss.  I used kit 84942073.  See attached GM Upfitter document for the details on the parts included in the kit.   I worked out great for me.

 

FYI I have my old Knee Bolster (84487348) on eBay in case you damage yours.

Thanks Chris the GM 84942073 was the right one I lucked out, ran the wires today putting in the rest on Monday.

Does anyone know if 84942073 is compatible with a 2024 2500 HD Custom .?  Black interior with push button ignition.

I have a 1500 and that's the part number I got and it looks great in my black interior truck.  Mark
