Hello, I have pretty stock truck besides a 3.5 level, catback exhaust, and a cold air intake. I am looking to have a TSP stage 3 cam installed and long tube heads. What are the essential supporting mods I need to get for everything to run smooth besides a good tune. Also, I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 5.3.

Thanks!

I'd advise a smaller camshaft if you aren't replacing the torque converter. But I'd want to replace the converter regardless if its still the stock unit. Put in a nice aftermarket converter that won't grenade on you and destroy the transmission pump.

Also, I plan on getting the TSP kit.

Whatever kit you get make sure you AT LEAST get a caddy lifter if not Johnson.

and like Cam said, get new converter. Either something aftermarket or a new one from CTSV (6L90).

I woulda also suggest getting an additional trans cooler. Something like a trucool 40K. Add it AFTER the factory trans cooler. Bigger cam and looser stall will create more heat.
