Can Slick 50 Synthetic Oil additive be run in a Chevrolet Colorado 2.8L LWN Duramax Diesel engine?

I was a big additive guy before synthetic oil, namely Amsoil. Engines were simpler too. Be sure to check the manufacturer’s recommendations before you add anything to your oil.

Yea a good oil is all that's really needed nowadays, and there are plenty to choose from.  I ran Pennzoil Euro L 5w30 when I had my 2.8 Duramax but another great choice is the Amsoil 5w30 100% Synthetic Diesel oil.
