Fold out steps that slide over for bed access

I just saw an ‘18 Denali that had thick chrome power running boards and the owner showed me that it has a kick pad on the end cap that when pressed power slides the steps toward the bed for toolbox access. He didn’t know what brand and that they don’t have any branding that he could find, he got them installed at the dealer when he bought it new. I’ve never seen such a setup and want to look into getting those. Do any of you know of a brand that has such?

GM.  Those are factory optioned and factory installed, not dealer installed.

 

Not sure if they can be retrofitted to a truck beacuse they are controlled via the BCM and running board step control module so lots of wiring and programming would be missing on a truck that doesn't have them.

Oh, that sucks. I wish I could get them through GMC accessories at least, but no

No programming nessasery. You can retrofit them just have to wire them an add the switch in the center stack

Do you know if they or a similar sliding one is available through GM (or other source) or do I have to hope for a marketplace/junkyard find?

I think the only option available now is market place -offerup so on
