Passenger side catch can?

Anyone using catch cans and have one on the passenger side? Does it catch anything on that side? I see oil residue in the tube to the throttle body housing but none in the housing itself. I'm burning a qt every 1500 miles so it's getting the catch can. Just not sure if I need one on both sides. 43k miles and had the rough idle and misfire codes. Just did the fuel induction cleaner and dealer mechanic said add the catch can. Thanks

For the heck of it, i will be adding a catch can on the passengers side when the second one i ordered comes in, on Monday per tracking.
