2010 sierra a/c problem

2010 sierra 1500 had a/c kit installed at dealer 1800 dollars worth now it seems at 90 degrees or below it seems to work right. 90 or above not so much blows cool at startup never gets real cold. I drive 19 miles from work to pickup my daughter. Cut truck off approximately 10 minutes restart and a/c will freeze you out haven’t been able to find any answers yet
