Does anybody know what BCM plug and wire location to use of I want my board lights to come on and stay on with the headlights?  Thanks

If you search you should be able to find a thread that describes it. The instruction are part of the GM accessory lighted running boards. You will also need a "Molex" connector to insert in the plug. It if course is in the connector that is the farthest forward and hardest to reach. It will not illuminate the boards while driving. I believe theres a rule against clear/white side facing lights while driving. I used to have the file where I could find it but this is a new PC and I am still looking for things.

I added the circuit for lights in the front interior footwells

Would having the board lights  on all the time the headlights be on even be legal?

If they are amber, they may be legal....check your state DOT.
