Hello All, my 21 Sierra HD has the brake squeal/squawk really bad when braking lightly at low speeds.  It's out of warranty on years, but is still under 30k miles.  I should have pursued this while under warranty, but didn't take the time to do so.  I want to get these brakes replaced so I don't have to deal with the noise anymore.  With that said, what do I need to do to change the brakes so that I don't have issues with the electronic park brake and the brake pad wear sensors?  I like to do the brakes myself, but haven't had to deal with the electric park brake or brake pad wear sensors before on a truck.  Thanks in advance for any tips/tricks.

Nothing on HD.  The caliper mounted electric parking brake is on the 1500s only.

HD still use the drum in hat parking brake like the old trucks just electronically actuated.  No need to put it in any service mode.

As for the wear sensors, be careful unplugging them as the connector is a bit odd.

Same issue on my '21.  I replaced all four corners with powerstop pads just to make the noise stop.  Extremely easy.

You will need a 2 way code reader to be able to reset the wear indicator in the DIC. The method in the owners manual does not work.
