2024 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate - Rear view mirror camera stopped working (no power)

Hi All,

 

Yesterday, I hopped in my 2024 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and noticed that my rear view mirror camera is no longer working. There is zero power to it. Not even the compass is showing.  I checked all the fuses and did take a look at the wiring harnesses, I didn't notice anything obvious. 

 

Does anyone have a clue on what it might be? I can't find much info on this from a troubleshooting perspective.  I have a service appointment on Monday, but they are very backed up. I was hoping I could maybe figure out what I might be to save a little time.

If both your compass and rearview camera are out, I'd call the dealership. It's more than an unplugged camera. Give Black or Starling a call. They are Orlando dealerships

Is it working as a regular mirror or is it a blank screen? 

 

Is the compass in the camera mirror a new feature for '24 or is it a Denali Ultimate feature?

 

My '23 'regular' Denali has camera rear view but no compass.

My compass is on my instrument cluster which is why I figured it was more than plug issue. The OP could be one of the many "one and done" never to be heard from again.
