Truck wont go at first acceleration, then suddenly sling shots forward. Been running the 4W H here lately and just curious if something could be stuck? It still shifts from 4w to 2 w, but it's difficult to accelerate without the sling shots effect.

Welcome to the Forum! What doesn't respond the engine or the trans? As always the first step is to check for codes as there are MANY things that can cause those symptoms. Accelerator pedal and throttle assembly are possibilities, check the wiring

I believe mine does the same thing.  Once in 4wd simply tapping the accelerator it’ll keep accelerating.  It can be less than a second or a few seconds.  Happens when initially engaging gears like drive or reverse.  Don’t know if it’ll keep doing it as I never use it more than 100 ft or so.
