2014 SIERRA 1500 5.3 PO340, reading 0 on Scanner when I graph it. But oscilloscope shows a DC square wave when I tapped into return signal to ecm? I checked continuity from x3 plug on module to camshaft( no resistance on any of the three wires

Thank you. Any advice or comments on my concerns of doing the engine swap? Dealership is doing it so feel semi ok. or any issues with the remand for this year having the parts that are causing the current recall ? -
The Avalanche leaked, glued it shut. The Genesis was never used one day a grand kid hit the button it went crooked. Got it back in place. I put tape across the buttons. There’re about as useless as in dash navigation. -
