I have started noticing small tapping vibrations in my 2024 GMC Sierra with the 3.0, mainly when turning left over a bump or while backing up. I’ve also noticed a slight tap in the steering wheel when hard stopping or accelerating—almost like play in the steering shaft.

Given the cold and dry conditions, I initially assumed the grease at the firewall boot might be drying out. I applied some white lithium grease to see if it would help, but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference—the issue still persists.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m concerned that since it’s not easy to replicate on demand, a dealer might not be much help. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
