Hey folks, Im trying to troubleshoot my 14 SLT Hi beam issue. Low beams work good and passenger side low and hi beam work just find. This is a new bulb in the driver side, and the hi beam doesnt work at all. I see there is only 1 fuse for the head light a 10a fuse (which I havent replaced it yet) I dont see a fuse or relay for the hi beam at all. Kinda of throwing me for a loop with only one side not working. Anyone experience this and fixed it with out going to the dealer?

Thanks for the advice!

ok so my truck manual says location 58 is for head lamps and it is a 10a fuse, but online it is showing that 59 is for headlamps and it is a relay.. Can anyone confirm which is correct?

Do you have the original factory headlight assemblies still?

Fuse is 58 but that is power for both headlights.  The relay is built into the board inside the fuse box.  If the fuse or the relay were bad, you'd have no low or high beam at all.

Assuming you still have the original headlights, they only have one bulb in them and use a shutter that stays closed for the low beam and opens on the high beam.  I'd bet you have a broken or failed shutter in that headlamp and that would require headlamp replacement.

yes I have factory headlamp. This is great info thank you. So there is no way to fix/replace the failed shutter with out replacing the headlight assembly?
