Hello everyone! I am looking for some help and input.

Has anybody experienced this message above, and what did you do to resolve it?

I purchased a 2020 Denali with the ultimate package 6.2L frost white tricoat 22" gloss black wheels about 4 months ago. It had 65k miles and looks to be well taken care of. It was certified pre-owned and purchased from a GMC dealership. I love this truck, and it is awesom to drive. This error message has occurred 4 or 5 times, usually after it is at running temperature and after a turn or when I hit a bump or go over a speed bump. The truck then has to either  e turned off for several minutes or have the negative terminal disconnected for the computer reset or booted. The problem seems to happen at the worst times when I need to be somewhere or in a hurry. The truck will still operate but limited steering, just enough to get off the road. It is extremely frustrating. When researching this issue I saw one link about wire bundles behind the drivers wheel liner that were rubbing suspension parts and rubbed through to expose wires. I belive this may be the case, because twice it happened after driving over a speed bump in different parking lots. I have a PULSAR LT installed with DFM and Autostop disabled and pedal set to 3. This issue happened before the PULSAR was installed and after it was removed, so that is not the cause. It doesn't parasite from the control voltage so that won't be the cause. This fault is completely random. It could happen twice in a day or might not happen for weeks or a month. Am I going to have this issue constantly or have to search all these wire bundles, and there are lots of bundles, or is there a resolution that others have experienced that correct this problem? I did check the codes and once had a p2148 (I think that was the code) something about the accelerator pedal. If you have had this issue, how did you fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  ☺️

Sorry. I will post on other forum.

But while here, have any 2500 owners experienced this issue?

Well, since we have a different platform, if anyone is interested, besides you.....the above issue could be shared because we both have GMC trucks......the problem was from ...the battery... a d the negative terminal post ,battery monitor module.

If your vehicle needs service..what is the first thing the manual, if you have one..or care to hear about, like anything electrical or reboot is disconnecting the negative terminal. How old is your battery? Is the terminal TIGHT if you have any movement..you have s problem.

The battery is specific for the vehicle.  It is an Absorbed Mat type. Not sure what happens if you try it with a regular one, I'm not finding out.

So the fix for the OP, was : replaced the negative terminal Battery Monitor module (has a 2 wire pigtail and connector)

And I replace the battery (upgrade) to a 94AMGHR high reserve AC Delco  36mo. How long has it it been since your battery expired?..well... thats too long...

So... if your 2500 has a problem like I posted.. then maybe it would be something to check.

I have not had this problem or issue since I replaced these two parts. The battery was the original 2020 battery. ¿ Never had any problem with power or starting failure.  But I have had no issues since. Just wanted to let the HEAVY DUYY community how it was fixed.  Later.

LOL...just so you know, the Heavy Duty trucks do not have this type of battery monitor.
