I purchased OEM fuel one piece lines to replace my current rusted out lines. I’ve removed the old lines but now I’m unsure how to route the new ones in place. I’ve read on other forums to slightly raise cab from frame and loosen the ABS module to give clearance. Some others have said the torsion bar would need to be removed , which I’d rather not do. Have any on you successfully reinstalled these one piece lines and what adjustments did you take to allow space to avoid bending or damaging the expensive OEM lines. I know this job would be easier with the flexible braided stainless lines but due to this being a flex fuel I’ve been unable to find any replacement kits. Why is that? Due to the E85 compatibility of flex fuel trucks? I only run gasoline and never plan to run E85. If I can’t route these lines would I be able to use a braided stainless setup for a non flex fuel as long as everything else matches up? Thanks for any help/ recommendations…

They also make a plastic replacement kit, Short money on Amazon and easy install. Most folks who buy the prebent fuel and brake lines don't realize that they were installed at the factory on a bare chassis and it is close to impossible to install replacements without cutting, splicing and unbending the replacements. If the fuel lines are rusted enough that they leak then the top of the fuel pump is probably in similar condition unless it has already been replaced. Just went through this with my 06, removing the bed is easier than dropping the tank
