Swap Meets Rock

I went to this swap meet/car show today and came accross some Edelbrock valve covers for GMs. They were cheap and the insides were very clean...the outsides looked like crap...they had black paint on them that someone put on in a hurry. I took them home and got to cleaning. I got the black paint off, then I came to some red paint, then chrome. The chrome is in decent shape too. There is some pitting, but not much. All it needs is a good polishing. I love swap meets.

I only got one done today because I ran out of cleaner, but the other one will get done soon.

tip for the polishing:

get some wading polish, it's supposed to work very well.

bavauto.com sells some B&B brand, but its a little expensive(made for stainless steel exhaust). I think Eagle One make a less expensive version that seels in most local auto parts store. that reminds me, I need to get some from y aluminum bumpers........tell me if you get any and how well it works! OR else I will if I get it first(might be a while)
