A few neat shots of my pickup...

I spent the day slinging gravel to repair the driveway from this past winter's ice and runoff. Made 3 trips and got 2000lbs to 2700lbs per trip. The truck's GVWR is 8800 and it weighed 6600 empty so the 2700lb trip put me over the GVWR by 500lbs. I was trying to stay under but the guy operating the loader was guessing before weigh out & he got it pretty close.

This one was a 2500lb load:

Rear leafs empty:

And with the 2500lbs of limestone gravel. Notice the overload spring is touching the spring bumper:

Done and washed. I really hate to wash my truck :( but lime dust can't be good for the paint so after unsuccesfully begging my wife to wash it I reluctantly did it myself. Besides, the weather was great & the beer was cold!

Enjoy, and as usual my apologies for posting Ford photos on GM-Trucks.com! :)

still looking good.

I've have pics of my car with a 2500# load of gravel pretty soon.

Then we'll see who's boss

 If you dump 2500#s of limestone chips on your car from a front-loader with the bucket 5ft above the car's roof then you can be the boss! No arguments from me! I'd rather you didn't-it's a sharp looking BMW!

Seriosly thanks for the nice words.

Weather is getting good so I should be hauling/towing alot of junk/materials over the next few months for this older house I'm sorta fixing up. If it keeps me outside and away from my job it makes me happy! :D
