Have a 2020 dually and I bought the orange tpms relearn tool of Amazon that I used when working at the dealership I can’t figure out the sequence for the dually tpms I know on the SRW models you start with left front and work your way around but that doesn’t seem to be the case with the duallys also I noticed even when I switch the sequence up testing different ones the tires all stay in the same position on the screen it’s acting like it’s a success I get the double honk after scanning the 6th tire do y’all have any clue what’s going on or what the sequence is.

Duallies are best done with the outers off IMO.  With both on it can cause interference from the other wheel when triggering.  When we do them at work with the GM TPMS tool, the tool allows you to trigger the sensors with the truck off and then write the new locations with the OBD cable to the truck.  So when they are doing a rotate, they will get the wheels where they need to be, grab the tool and learn the new spots.  When the truck gets back down and is done they will plug in the tool and write the new locations.  This can also be done I "think" with an Autel TPMS tool or any of them that have OBD connection.

Dually sequence starts with the LEFT FRONT and then work clockwise from there.  So LF, RF, RIGHT OUTER, RIGHT INNER, LEFT INNER and then LEFT OUTER.

I appreciate it I tried it again and I ended up just needing to drive the truck a few miles I used the orange tool off Amazon and kept the tires on and it ended up working but definitely a pain to stick the tool in the little holes on the wheel cut my wrist up pretty good LOL
