my brother recommend this to me, and I just got it. IT's pretty sweet for Dial-up.

 

I cancelled MSN, and while I'm cancelling, they tell me "We'll will give you MSN Hi-Speed for 15.95 a month, which is the same price, since you are a preferred customer"

 

Well, I started thinking about that, and I told them no.

 

first, Net Zero is a buck less, not the same price. second, If I am a preferred customer and they appreciate me wnought to price match, then why the heck didn they tell me this 5 months ago, after I had become an established customer. They sent me e-mail after e-mail telling me to upgrade to their MSN 9, which is the same service, same price, just newer software. They nenver mentions faster service at a lower price.

 

I don't want microsoft getting any more money anyway.

oh yeah, I'm going between 200-900% acceleration. this second I'm at 921%, equivalent of 421 kpbs
