Hey folks, I have been tossing around the idea of getting a 3/4 ton for some time now, having owned my 03 1500 4x4 for just over a year has kept me from doing it. I love my 03 half ton, but I really want more towing capacity, I have tried going smaller on the trailer but it just doesnt add up. So...I am thinking I will buy an 04 with the new Duramax if I can find one I want (6 speed, yea right) and sell off my 03.

Now here is the question, I am going to get a GM in the driveway certificate from a kind fellow on another board. Granted I am able to find a truck I like on a lot somewhere before this thing expires at the end of march, can I use the GMS pricing certificate and also use a gas tank cert for 500 off, and then use my military ID to get another 750 off PLUS the 2500 rebate? This is tempting if I could combine all that and find a truck I like....Please any input? Also, I have been using GM buypower, but how do you search the whole US to find a truck? Thanks!

One thing to keep in mind about the GMS program...the dealer has the right to exclude certain vehicles from the program based upon his discretion. When I went in, the dealer he only had three Duramax diesels on the lot and he was excluding them from the GMS. I didn't want a Duramax so I didn't care...but then a friend of mine had to buy 150 miles away from another dealer so as to get the Duramax.

03..........GM is sorta funny when combining GM employee/supplier

deals with the other incentives.

 

XT....Is correct also...the dealer can refuse to do the deal on certain models

if they wish!

 

Some cannot be used with others. Ya gotta ask the dealer for details.

 

When I used my GM employee deal in 01 with my GM gas tank settlement

cert. they would only allow me $250..........

 

I did get the full rebate and 2.9 int. tho...........

 

My bud just used a GM in the drivewy cert. on a new 04.

It shaved $21 a month off his 60 mth. payments.

So he saved about $1800 using it.

He took the full rebate and GM MC card points , and a $500 GM Card bonus

cert. along with the Driveway coupon.

He got 1.9% int. rate from his CU.................geo
