18" Tires

I have been looking into a set of 18" wheels for my duramax. I would like to put a set of 285/65/18 Tires on them. Where can you get 18" truck tires? The only ones that I can find in that size are the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO. I like the tire... But I was looking for a few more options.

I would think that they are going to start coming out with some new tire sizes since a lot of trucks are starting to come with 18"ers...

Anyone???

you can get a 285/60/r18 and a LT325/60/R18 from nitto on the terra grappler but I think the 285 might be too short and the 325 too wide

I think that those might work. I am going to check on some sizes. I think that the 18" tire would look sweet on a HD rig with the 285's.

I think that I like the Terra Grapplers but I am wondering if the 285/60/18 will fit on an unlifted HD with the 18" wheels. Anyone out there running this combo? I think that it would look sweet.

I would say for sure cause I have the 285/75/16's and they are a bit taller and almost as wide. but check the ratings on that tire....it doesnt say p or lt and also check the tread depth...says 285/75/16 is 16.5 32nds and the 285/60/18 is 13.6 32nds

sounds like more of a street tire

The Maximum Load that the Terra LT is 3086 at 50 PSI. Would that be enough for a HD that doesnt tow very often? It would be 6100 on the rear??? I guess that isnt a lot. Hmmm...

But that would be enough, wouldnt it???

I have a 2003 GMC CC SB 4x4 and I am runnung Toyo Open Country A/T 325/60/18 on a 18x9.5 wheel with 6 inch backspace. Te key is the correct backspace on the wheel.
